Ingredients:
4–6 blood oranges (chilled for best taste)
1 small lemon (optional, for a zesty kick)
½ inch piece of fresh ginger (optional, for a spicy twist)
1–2 tsp honey or agave syrup (optional, to balance tartness)
Ice cubes (for serving)
Instructions:
Prep the fruit:
Peel the blood oranges and remove any seeds.
If using lemon and ginger, peel the lemon and cut the ginger into smaller pieces.
Juicing time:
Feed the blood oranges into your cold press juicer one by one.
Follow with lemon and ginger, if using.
Taste & sweeten:
Taste the juice. If it's a bit tart, stir in honey or agave to your liking.
Serve:
Pour over ice and enjoy immediately for a refreshing, vitamin-packed drink!
Pro Tips:
Chill your oranges before juicing for the most refreshing flavor.
Blood oranges are seasonal (mainly winter to early spring), so grab them when they’re ripe and vibrant.
This juice is perfect as a morning boost or a light afternoon refresher.
