Ingredients:
4–5 ripe passion fruits
1 medium orange (peeled) – for natural sweetness
½ apple (optional, for added body and balance)
½ cup cold water or coconut water (optional, to dilute)
1–2 tsp honey or agave syrup (optional, to taste)
Ice cubes for serving
Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Cut & Scoop:
Slice the passion fruits in half and scoop out the pulp (seeds and juice included) into a bowl.
Juicing:
Cold Press Juicer: Add orange, apple (if using), and passion fruit pulp into the juicer chute. Alternate ingredients for best yield.
Blender Option: Blend all ingredients, then strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds.
Taste & Adjust:
Stir in honey or agave syrup if desired. Add water or coconut water to lighten the texture or mellow the tanginess.
Serve:
Pour into a glass over ice. Garnish with mint leaves or a slice of orange.
Tips:
- Passion fruit is naturally tart, so pairing it with apple and orange makes it more universally appealing.
- Coconut water adds a tropical twist and hydrates without added sugar.
- For a cocktail version, add a splash of rum or vodka.
