Karachi Halwa

Ingredients:
1 cup of cornflour, 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup of water, 1/4th cup of chopped nuts, cardamom for flavor, food color 1tsp, ghee 1/4th cup
Steps:
😊In a bowl add 1 cup of cornflour add 4 cups of water and whisk it well.
😊Now turn on gas/induction, I have used @ciarraappliances
Induction and heat a pan add 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of water and dissolve it well.
😊Now add the cornflour mixture and mix it well on low to medium flame. Now add 1 tsp of lemon juice and mix it well.
😊Add ghee 1tsp and mix it well. This process is repeated every 15 minutes, we need to add ghee until it starts leaving the pan. Now add cardamom powder and food color and chopped nuts and pour into a greased tray /mold and garnish with chopped nuts. Now cut into desired cubes.
