Medium Size Frying Pan – Excellent Quality Ceramic Pan & Perfect for Cooking a Variety of Items

This 26cm frying pan from Carrara Beyond arrived in a large premium branded cardboard box and was well padded with carboard and protected with a plastic bag. The frying pan is ideal for cooking a range of food items including omelettes, eggs, pancakes and bacon due to the decent size diameter. The frying pan is made with a thick iron base which is best for induction hobs or electric and has an ultra tough ceramic coating which is both non-stick and non-toxic as it is it free from PTFE and PFOA. The coating is scratch and wear resistant and I like the lovely navy-blue exterior finish (although I do worry this will mark over time). Note that the range of cookware is also available in other colours from this seller too.The frying pan is a good weight (860g) which considering the build quality feels reasonable and it is well balanced when manoeuvring around. It has a cast steel handle which is riveted onto the pan securely and is both ergonomic and comfortable to hold. The frying pan has good heat distribution across the surface and is oven safe to up 230°C which is ideal if you need to move the food into the oven for further cooking or to keep warm.So far, I have made some pancakes in the frying pan and it heats up quickly on my electric hob and is easy to clean up after use due to the non-stick glossy surface. The frying pan is dishwasher safe but personally I will just be using hot soapy water to maintain the coating for as long as possible.(you will need to use wooden or silicone utensils to maintain lifespan and not metal utensils). The build quality is good and cooks the food evenly without hot spots. I would definitely recommend this frying pan.

High quality pan

I'll be honest I am not familiar with Ciarra as a brand. After a bit of research I discovered they make a range of high quality cookware and appliances. This Beyond Frying Pan boasts a non-stick ceramic coating and is oven friendly. The pan comes in a large high quality box. Most of the packaging appears to be recyclable. The pan has some serious weight to it and is beautifully finished. I couldn't see any flaws and the handle feels sturdy. With ceramic coated pans care needs to be taking with heating and cleaning to extend their life. In use the pan heats up nice and evenly. I always been scrambled egg is a good test as it can be stubborn to clean. No issues here. Just make sure you let the pan cool first.A high quality premium pan that is a joy to use.

Lovely frying pan but pricey

This frying pan is absolutely amazing, it is really non-stick, so much better than teflon ones I used before. This product is heavy, well made, looks lovely and makes cooking and cleaning easier. It comes in a lovely looking box, would make a nice gift for someone who loves cooking. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because of its' price - comparing to other frying pans it is a little bit expensive. But exactly worth it.

The best ceramic frying pan

I was surprised how well packaged this ceramic pan came. I can say with conviction that this is the best ceramic frying pan I've had so far. It seems to have very high quality, it's made of ceramic alloy steel cast iron, it's nonstick pan, free from harmful substances, it's scratch-resistant and very easy to clean even in dishwasher. I used it to cook eggs, different sauces ect and I really liked the fact that the food didn't stick and I used very little oil, so it's healthier. The handle is made of cast steel which looks very strong, easy to hold and does not transmit heat. I love this ceramic pan, even though the price is a little bit high in my opinion, I would still recommend it because it is worth it.

Excellent non-stick properties

Wow, very nice to use - this was our 6th round of eggy bread and still not sticking even without adding more oil. It's nice and easy to clean - recommended to hand-wash, but can go in the dishwasher. Whaf i have noticed is some discolouration to the base after it's been used on a gas hob. We dont get this with our metal.bas3d pans, but thw orange colouring goes underneath it too and it seems that when it gets very hot it goes a little white. The sides of the pan are fine. There's a feeling of substance to ir, but it's not too heavy to use/tip up one handed etc. The handle can get warm after using foe a while, but I think less so than our other cheaper pans. It's a rather high price point, but you can see the quality easily. I'm not sure I'd justify spending this on a frying pan, but it is good to use!
